To properly install the maintenance blocks on a Hy-Brid Lifts HB-1230 scissor lift, raise the machine high enough to reach the maintenance locks. Then, drop down the maintenance locks and lower the machine so it rests securely on the maintenance locks. Now the maintenance locks are engaged and your machine is safe to inspect or work on.
